The project realises a generic SLA description for D-Grid to capture the most common Quality of Service requirements consumers and providers have. In addition, requirements from selected usage scenarios are captured and the corresponding SLA descriptions are realised.

To achieve this, SLA4D-Grid organises a series of workshops. There, industrial and academic D-Grid resource providers and consumers discuss their particular usage scenarios, business models, and SLA-related requirements. SLA4D-Grid takes up the results from the workshop and realises generic and specific SLA descriptions, which build the foundation of the Service Level Agreement layer.

The first workshop took place in Bonn on September 03, 2009.

The second workshop took place in Berlin on May 04, 2010.
